needle-valve.JPG (6358 bytes) If you look hard you can see in this photo (inside circle) that the end of this need valve has a grove worn in it. This grove is worn by contact with the seat assembly and the effects of constant vibration from engine vibration. I don't have a photo of the new needle because it's already installed. Any, I mean ANY deformity at all on the taper of this needle valve and you should replaced it, replace the seat assembly at the same time. They can be pricey, running about $30 for the Honda part.
