| This photo shows the left side motor cover after being polished and drilled. Paint remover or fine sand paper can be used to remove the factory clear coat and then the piece can be buffed on a power buffing wheel, or by hand if you have a lot of time. Holes keep things cooler, lighter and just plain look cool although they might not be a good idea for a bike used on a daily basis or in wet weather. Intake manifold, engine cases, right side cover, cam sprocket cover and many small pieces can be polished to a nice shine. |
