Fairing and Seat
| Some photos of the AIr Tech MT-125 fairing and CR110 seat/tail section. Fairing is of good quality but very light, would not be suitable for street use. Finish on the pieces is decent but will require some work to smooth them out. Upper and lower fairing run about $200 (reasonable), and seat about $95 (seems a little high for this piece). They are comparable to other brands I have seen the advantage being that Air Tech seems to produce fairings for just about every you might race. | |
| Photo showing the fit around the handle bars. As noted else where these bar will be replaced with clip-on style bars for more clearance and adjustability. Wind screen is on the way. | |
| Photo showing the front opening of the fairing. Large upper opening serves to cool the vertical cylinder of the two stroke MT-125. As you can see the almost horizontal cylinder of the Honda motor is much lower. Eventually I will close off some of the upper opening to aid aerodynamics and open up some of the lower slots to aid engine cooling. | |
| Photo of right side fairing stay. Simple bracket welded to frame with 1/2" diameter aluminum stand off. I'll be using some type of fiber or hard rubber washers at this mounting to avoid damage to the fairing from vibration. | |
